by Yefim Natis | May 2, 2015 | Comments Off on Open Position at Gartner for a PaaS/Cloud/Technology Enthusiast
Gartner has an open position in the group that follows cloud application infrastructure and architecture.
You get to work with such prominent Gartner analysts as Massimo Pezzini, Anne Thomas, Benoit Lheureux, Jess Thompson, Keith Guttridge, Eric Knipp, Richard Watson, Lydia Leong, David Smith, David Cearley, Daryl Plummer and others. The focus in the open position is cloud platform technology — PaaS and IaaS. (Note that we cover PaaS as multi-functional environment including application, integration, database, BPM, portal, business analytics, event streaming, mobile back-end, API management and other platform services.) The secondary theme of the open position is application architecture — SOA, EDA, software-defined architecture, also microservices, containers, etc.
If you love technology and have a strong footing in application infrastructure and architecture, plus if you have an analytical mind and interest in learning and sharing your insight — e-mail your resume to me (Ynatis@Gartner.com) and request a phone call if you like to discuss further.
P.S. You will have to be prepared to travel to industry events, interview and advice vendors and users (in-person, on the phone and in writing), debate your and your colleagues’ views on present and future of technology and business.
