When think about the workflow that are required to stream both live and on-demand video, I see so many opportunities for utilizing a multi-tenant cloud platform.  What I hear from many broadcasters, content owners and pay tv operators is pure server hugging- especially for the encoders.  I get the need for cost effective, low latency, high performance. Take a look; the cloud can do that.  Very good article from tthe IBC website.
