You can learn more about Tango Card here.

For e.g. if Vendor X has 3 offerings listed in 2 markets, let’s say Salesforce Automation (1 offering) and Business Intelligence & Analytics (2 offerings), Vendor X may add funds up to $10,000 in one calendar year (this is Vendor X’s, Annual Cap).

When reaching out to my customers to solicit reviews, am I able to mention the gift cards?

Will I know which of my customers received the gift cards?

In line with our privacy policy and our focus on preserving the anonymous nature of the review, Gartner or Tango Card do not reveal any personally identifiable information about the reviewer.

It is strictly against our policy to track any reviewer, review statuses, request for a screenshot of reviews, or to provide any additional incentive.

You can read more about this in our Privacy Policy and in our Community Guidelines.

    Gift Card Disbursal and Redemption

How do my customers receive the gift card?

For every published review, Gartner has arranged for Tango Card to disburse a gift card until you have used up the funds in your account and your yearly “per market” limit ($5,000 USD multiplied by the number of markets in which you have an offering) has been exhausted.

After your customer submits their review via an incentivized link, the review will be subjected to the Peer Insights Verification Process as listed in our Gartner Peer Insights Community Guidelines. If the review is approved, your customer will receive an email from Gartner confirming they have earned a gift card. Tango Card will disburse the gift card to the eligible customer within 24 hours.

If your customer has not yet received their gift card, they may also visit their Peer Insights Profile under “Your Reviews” (https://www.gartner.com/reviews/account/reviews) where they will see an option to “Resend Gift Card” to receive the same gift card again, in case they missed it.

Do gift cards need to be redeemed within a certain period?

Visa International gift cards have an expiration date stated on them. Our Visa International gift card must be redeemed within 7 months. Gift card codes become invalid following the expiration date and cannot return into the cycle.

What if my customer failed to redeem their gift card?

Once the gift card has been issued from your account, it cannot be transferred back to your account, even if it has not been redeemed.

What happens if an approved review is unpublished by Gartner later?

Once the gift card has been issued from your account, it cannot be transferred back to your account.

What happens if a customer submits a review but is prevented from receiving incentives because the customer is a government official or has a corporate gift policy that prohibits the receipt of incentives in the context of a business transaction?

Reviewers that fit this profile will be notified directly by our team via email that we are not able to send them the gift card as it violates Gartner policy and applicable law Please see an example of the messaging that is sent below:

Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with a gift card because doing so violates Gartner’s policy prohibiting gifts to any Public Sector enterprise or Government body. In case you don’t want your review to be published or need any more information about your submitted review contacts us at PeerInsights@Gartner.com.

Is there a limit to the number of gift cards a reviewer can receive?

An individual Reviewer is eligible for up to ten (10) gift cards in one (1) calendar year. These reviews may be spread across various vendors and products.

Is every reviewer eligible for a gift card?

The gift cards will only be issued for reviews that have been approved as per the Gartner Peer Insights Community Guidelines.

Only reviews that are submitted through an incentivized/rewards campaign are eligible for a gift card.

Gartner will not provide an incentive to (i) Govt./Public-Sector employees in exchange for reviews because doing so violates both the law and Gartner’s policy prohibiting gifts in the context of a business transaction to any Public Sector enterprise or Government body; (ii) any individuals whose corporate gift policy expressly prohibits the receipt of gift cards; and/or (iii) reviewers from organizations that do not meet Gartner’s definition of mid to large enterprises (which is the focus of the Peer Insights platform).

You can read more about this in our Community Guidelines.

My customers are located outside of the US – Will they still be eligible to receive a gift card? Will the gift card be valued in the currency of their country?

We offer an international Visa gift card valued at $25 USD to all reviewers. These gift cards will be eligible in most major countries, subject to restrictions on the gift card (Visa/Charity) chosen and accessibility of Peer Insights services in that location. The international Visa gift card can be used in 140+ countries and redeemed in the currency of their country. For questions about specific countries, please reach out to PeerInsights@Gartner.com.
