Can any organization opt-in for the Review Collection by GPI program?

Yes, any organization can be a part of the program.

Is there a fee to participate?

No, there is no fee to participate in the program. As part of the program launch and for a limited time, Gartner Peer Insights will be offering a Gartner-funded $25 gift card to your customers after their review is published.

Is there anything I need to do before I opt-in to the Review Collection by GPI?

If I wish to source reviews to multiple products, Can I select multiple products while submitting the details?

Please submit details of only one product in one request. If you wish to source reviews to multiple products, please feel free to raise multiple requests.

Will the reviews sourced through this option be considered vendor sourced reviews?

Yes, all reviews published through Review Collection will be vendor sourced but Gartner funded.


Providing Customer Information

Where are the customer email addresses stored? Is this a secure environment?

We value your privacy. All the details submitted would be encrypted and saved in a secure environment.

Who has access to the customer email addresses once submitted?

Our internal team will be creating the sourcing links and reaching out to your customers as part of this program.

How long does Gartner Peer Insights keep our customer email addresses stored?

All the email addresses, except the users who themselves register on Peer Insights, would be deleted post campaign completion. Each campaign would be active for 90 days.

Is there a minimum number of customer emails that we need to provide?

It is always better to reach out to as many customers as possible but a minimum of 5 customers details would be required.

Does Gartner Peer Insights remove customers who have recently submitted reviews from the outreach?

Yes, we will not reach out to customers who have already submitted an approved review for a product.

Is there a certain type of customer we should provide or not provide? Any guidance on how to segment our list?

Please read the terms and conditions of the program (listed above) carefully.

We have the same customers on Product X in Market 1 and Product Y in Market 2. Can we upload 2 lists of the same customers to ask them to review these different products?

Yes, you can submit the same customer list because the products are different. Please note that reviewers can leave more than one review on Gartner Peer Insights, but the review content must be unique for each review.


Email Invitation, Incentives and Reporting

How many emails will you send to each customer?

We plan to send 4 emails at max to one customer of yours. Please note that reminder emails will be sent only if they have not responded to emails already sent to them.

What is the email address it comes from?

All emails in the campaign will be sent from the email address: noreply@peerinsights.gartner.com

How will the communication/invitation look like. Will customers see or be informed that Gartner is reaching out on behalf of vendors?

Please reach out to your Program Manager to get access to Email Templates.

Will we be able to use our sourcing links with the new Review Collection process?

No, Review Collection would work independent of Review Sourcing Links created by Vendors. Having said that, please feel free to create and share your created sourcing links with your customers.

Are we able to customize the email that is sent to our customers?

No, customizations to customer emails won’t be possible. Emails sent to customers will be a predefined template finalized by our team.

Can we offer customers an incentive to submit a review?

As part of the program launch and for a limited time, Gartner Peer Insights will be offering a Gartner-funded $25 gift card to your customers after their review is published.

Is there a limit to number of Gift cards Gartner Peer Insights would be sharing with the customers?

An individual Reviewer is eligible for up to ten (10) gift cards in one (1) calendar year. These reviews may be spread across various vendors and products.

Will we receive reporting on the number of opens/click throughs?

No, we won’t be providing metrics around emails.

Will we receive reporting on the number of reviews submitted and published?

You can track the reviews funnel at Sourcing Link page on Technology Provider Tool (TPT)

Will anyone from the vendor team will be copied in the emails sent as part of Review Collection by GPI?

No, Emails would be sent only to your customers but the email will mention the GPI is reaching out to them on your behalf.

Will I get notified when each of the emails gets sent to my customers? Will I get notified when the email series starts?

No, you will not be notified when each of the emails gets sent to your customers. You will be notified once your campaign is scheduled to be sent to your customers, and within 24 hours your customers will receive the first email from our side.

How long does the campaign last from the first email sent to the last email sent? How many days are in between the email asks? Do you send out the emails on weekends?

Each customer will get up to 4 emails for the duration of the campaign totaling 12 days. See the details below:

Email 1: First email will be sent within 24 hours once your campaign is scheduled.
Email 2: 5 Days after First Email is sent – First Reminder is sent to the customers
Email 3: 3 Days after First Reminder is sent – Second Reminder is sent to the customers
Email 4: 4 Days after Second Reminder is sent – Third Reminder is sent to the customers

Please note that reminder emails will be sent only if they have not responded to emails already sent to them, and emails may go out on weekends.

Can we customize the timeframe? For example, we want more time in between the emails or less time in between each email sent.

We’ve developed the campaign duration by leaning on best practices and learnings over the life of our site. As such, the ability to customize the timeframe of email sends is not currently available.

When does the sourcing campaign start after I submit the request? Can we choose when the sourcing campaign starts?

Once your campaign request has been approved, your campaign will be scheduled to start and the first email will be sent to your customers within 24 hours. You will be notified via email about the same. If you’d like your campaign to start within certain days, please submit the campaign request accordingly. Once submitted, we cannot delay the sourcing campaign start.

Will the collection service be able to send emails in languages other than English?

No, for now, we will be reaching out to your customers in English language only.
