Gartner Peer Insights Customer First Content Compliance Policy

  • You may quote or display your company’s participation in the Gartner Peer Insights Customer First program for the market(s) in which you have committed to, along with:
  1. the required disclaimer listed below; and
  2. hyperlinking to the Gartner Peer Insights Customer First webpage.
  • You may quote or display your company’s current Overall Peer Insights Ratings for the market, as well as excerpt individual review comments about your company or its products, according to the Gartner Content Compliance Policy f/k/a the Gartner Copyright and Quote Policy, including how we address violations of this Policy.
  • You may not use the Customer First badge to criticize a competitor.
  • You may not imply that the Customer First badge is an award.
  • References to Customer First program may not appear in your corporate boilerplates.
  • Except in digital media with character limitations (e.g., Twitter), the following disclaimer must appear with any/all Customer First program references and graphic use:

    Gartner Peer Insights Customer First Badge-Proper Usage

    • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer First badge is a trademark and service mark of Gartner Inc. and/or its affiliates and may only be used after securing express written permission.
    • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer First badge may be used only during active program participation, provided you hyperlink to the Gartner Peer Insights Customer First webpage and use the following legal disclaimer:

The Gartner Peer Insights Customer First program constitutes an organization's commitment to solicit reviews from its customers using programmatic sourcing strategies and best practices.     • You may include the Gartner Peer Insight Customer First badge in your reprint promotional materials for published Gartner expert opinion research (e.g. Magic Quadrant or Critical Capabilities landing pages) only if you make it clear that your inclusion in the Customer First program is not based on Gartner expert-opinion evaluations or is a recognition similar to the Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice distinction. 
    • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Firstbadge may be used only during active program participation. Include the full attribution and the required disclaimer, except where a true character limitation is enforced by a digital media platform (e.g. Twitter).
    1. For digital media with character limitations (for example, Twitter), you do not need to include a disclaimer, provided that you link to something that hosts the full disclaimer (such as a blog post, a press release, or a landing page).
    • Your logo must be the primary image (in both size and positioning) in your promotional materials and at least 10% larger in size than the Customer First badge. Why?
    • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer First badge may not be placed next to, or bundled with, your logo or any other logos. Why?
    • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer First badge may only be used in the approved email signature stamp widget provided by Gartner Peer Insights. No other use is permitted.
    • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer First badge may not appear in your press releases or securities offering documents (including annual reports). Why? Here are helpful templates to help you promote the distinction.
    • You may not alter any element of the Gartner Peer Insights Customer First badge (elements that may not change include typeface, font, proportion, orientation, and color).
