Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice – Vendor Guidelines (Archived)

Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award Quote Policy

  • You may quote or display your company’s Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award for market you have been awarded.
  • When using the Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award in promotional materials you must include a link to the winners’ page for the year of the award so users can see full and proper context.
  • You may quote or display your company’s current Overall Peer Insights Ratings for the market, as well as excerpt individual review comments about your company or its products according to Gartner Peer Insights quote policy (http://www.gartner.com/technology/about/policies/copyright.jsp#3.7)
  • You may not compare your company’s award or scores against any other provider, or use Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award to criticize a competitor.
    • You may not imply that Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award is the same as, or similar, to a Gartner Magic Quadrant
    • You may not imply that Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award is the result of Gartner Research evaluation (Research Analysts do not contribute to Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award)
    • You may not include the Gartner Peer Insight Customer Choice Award in your Magic Quadrant or Critical Capabilities reprint promotional materials.
  • Except in digital media with character limitations (e.g. Twitter), the following disclaimer must appear with any/all Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award references and graphic use:

The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award Logo is a trademark and service mark of Gartner Inc. and/or its affiliates and may only be used after securing express, written permission.

The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award Logo may be used in perpetuity provided the full report attribution and following legal disclaimer appear with the logo:

Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Awards are determined by the subjective opinions of individual end-user customers based on their own experiences, the number of published reviews on Gartner Peer Insights and overall ratings for a given vendor in the market, as further described here http://www.gartner.com/reviews-pages/peer-insights-customer-choice-awards/ and are not intended in any way to represent the views of Gartner or its affiliates.

Proper Usage:

  • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award Logo may be used in perpetuity, provided full attribution and the required disclaimer appear along with the logo; except where a true character limitation is enforced by a digital media platform.
  • You must include the required clear space around the Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award Logo (regardless of year).
  • Your logo must be the primary image (relative to both size and positioning) in your promotional materials (as shown in all examples in the Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Logo Usage Guidelines).
  • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award must be secondary in position to your logo and at least 10% smaller in size. Why?
  • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award may not be placed next to, or bundled with, your logo or any other logos. Why?
  • The Gartner Peer Insights Customer Choice Award logo may not appear in your press release, email signature stamp or securities offering documents (including annual reports). Why?
