The wait is over – Gartner Peer Insights “Fund your own gift cards” option is here!
Last Updated: July, 2020
Our new “Technology Provider-Funded Gift Cards” incentive feature is now live. Add gift cards to your account via the Review Sourcing Links tool!
Offering “nominal incentives” as a means of encouraging your customers to submit reviews (regardless of whether the review is a positive or negative one) is considered a common industry practice. Simply put, incentives help motivate software users to leave reviews.
You asked for an easy way to be able to solicit honest, unbiased reviews from your customers without the administrative headache of managing a gift card program to incentivize your customers for review submissions, and we’re excited to tell you this is now live!
On July 15th, we announced our new “Fund your own gift card” program to take the stress out of process. Under this program, your organization will receive one gift card account with our trusted provider Tango Card, where you can add funds directly. This account is to be used for all the markets for which your products/services are listed on Gartner Peer Insights.
You can track the status of your funded incentives through your Technology Provider Tool Dashboard.
Here is a quick overview of the program:
• The amount that you may contribute towards purchasing gift cards is $5,000 USD per market (as defined on Peer Insights) per year. For e.g. if Vendor X has been listed in 2 markets, let’s say Salesforce Automation and Business Intelligence & Analytics, Vendor X may add funds up to $10,000 USD in one calendar year (this is Vendor X’s Annual Cap). We will fulfill up to $5,000 in gift cards per market per year for published reviews.
• As of now, each gift card is valued at $25 USD, which is in line with Gartner’s incentive policy and as required by FTC Guidelines.
• For every published review, Gartner has arranged for Tango Card to provide your eligible reviewer with a gift card so long as your account balance allows and until your Annual Cap has been exhausted.
• Tango Card will issue a gift card only for those reviews that have been approved per the Gartner Peer Insights Community Guidelines.
We know you might have a lot of questions on ‘how to add funds’, ‘if there are any caps’ or ‘how to execute the program’, etc. – We’ve got it covered for you. You can find all details here.
