Planning A Virtual Event? How to Integrate Peer Insights Into The Experience

When incorporating the ask for a Gartner Peer Insights review into your virtual events there are a few components to keep in mind to ensure success.   • Design the event so it’s entertaining –  Attendees have other options during a digital event, so it is even more important that you keep them engaged throughout
  • Add event bonuses such as additional sessions exclusive for reviewers or “Become a contributor to your community” (join our Customer Advocacy Program hook)
  • Create a custom event review sourcing landing page that is branded in line with your digital event. Ensure to include your review sourcing link on the page for a seamless review experience
  • Leverage the Gartner Peer Insights promotional video (provided by Gartner) to give enterprise customers an overview of the platform 
  • Set expectations appropriately on the landing page – Highlight who can/cannot write a review, how long a review takes, link to example reviews, etc. 
  • Architect the event to run continuously so customers can submit a review at any point
  • Provide an email where people can ask for help if they cannot reach you immediately
Consider Review Landing Page Design:
  • Design a custom review sourcing landing page that is visually in line with your digital event branding to tie into the overall event experience
  • Generate Gartner review sourcing links and embed the links as the CTA to “Write a Review” so customers can easily leave a review
  • Finalize any digital incentives for reviewers prior to the event
Ensure Clear Communication and Content During Your Event:
  • Encourage attendees to visit your digital review experience through clear messaging pre-event and within the digital event experience
  • Provide a high-level overview of Gartner Peer Insights and set expectations for writing a review within the same screen or prior to them leaving the review
  • Create a sense of urgency by sending out a push notification or pop-up for attendees directing them to leave a review
  • Provide full-time “staffing” to support reviewers with any questions or concerns that may come up during the review process
  • Send pre- and post-event email campaigns, and generate buzz with publicity pieces
  • Use the #GartnerPeerInsights hashtag
