Welcome to July, where the last week of my life has been HOT. Over the weekend, we skateboarded and biked to the park and spent ten minutes there before turning around immediately. We just stood by the swingset and broke a sweat. Uffda, as they say around here.
Even though the summer brings a bit of oppression, it’s also worth celebrating. Ice cream! Monarch butterfly hatches! Farmer’s markets! These are the things that keep me optimistic when the winter seemingly lasts until May.
Also worth celebrating? A brand new type of Gartner research we recently published on the types of questions clients are asking us on inquiry. The report analyzes over 1,500 client inquiries with Gartner experts that were completed from January 2019 through March 2020 that we classified against the Marketing Data and Analytics client initiative. Hot topics included customer retention and shifting strategy as a result of the pandemic, but as always, the full research is available here for clients.
Clients can use this to understand what they should consider focusing on in light of their current strategy, as well as where marketing data and analytics can be used to support business goals for 2020.
Clients can access this new research here: “What Marketing Leaders Are Asking About: Marketing Data and Analytics, 1Q20“
What are some of the biggest marketing data and analytics challenges you’ve been facing lately? I’d love to read them in the comments.
