“The Gartner ERP Magic Quadrant is here! Find your horse in this race.” by Tim Faith

By Deborah Wilson | July 27, 2020 | 0 Comments

The Magic Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product Centric Enterprises has arrived!  We published the Critical Capabilities for Cloud ERP for Product Centric Enterprises too.  So much content!  For those with Gartner accounts, you will find a wealth of information in both documents.  As a teaser for those thinking about becoming Gartner customers, below is a peak at the Magic Quadrant.

I want to express thanks to Paul Schenck, Duy Nguyen, Denis Torii and Christian Hestermann for their co-authorship on this research note.  And I also want to express my thanks to the Analyst Relations teams of all the vendors mentioned in the note.  Their cooperation and responsiveness is appreciated now and always.

(aaand They’re Off!)

And finally, thanks to you, our blog readers and Gartner subscribers.  Many of you contributed conversations, inquiry, insights and thoughts along the way that contributed to the big picture. If you are reading this, you probably have some ideas of what goes into the production of this research.  You might have even participated directly with us in some way.  Thank you for being eager to see this, and for being eager to know all about it.

The purpose of this research is to provide answers, but then also to spur new questions.  As you pivot from ‘recovering’ to ‘renewing’ in this pandemic world, you will have questions as to how well ERP applications can help you with that pivot.  You will think “nice picture, but what does it mean?” We Gartner Analysts are here to help, to share the detailed insight and analysis contextualized to individual client needs and enable you, the IT leader, to choose a new horse or two to launch your quest to reclaim your customers, your market share, your territories.    Ride on!
