Marketing Organization and OperationsMarketing Strategy and Innovation

Are you investing in yourself as a marketing leader? When was the last time you took the time to get away from the daily routine to reflect on your overall direction and explore how to improve the performance of your organization? For many marketing leaders, this “Me time” just doesn’t happen as often as it should. Marketing conferences can be a spark to get you out of the office and immersed in a reflective, learning and educational environment. With that in mind, I’d like to personally invite you to attend the 2018 Gartner Digital Marketing Conference.

Our conference is NOT one of those marketing events packed with thinly-veiled vendor pitches masquerading as presentations or stale insights delivered by a self-promotional parade of growth-hackers, rockstars, ninjas, and gurus. You know the type of events I’m talking about… Our Gartner Digital Marketing Conference is different.

The theme for this year’s conference is Think Big. Execute Smart. Deliver Growth. Modern marketing leaders need a big vision; incremental thinking just won’t cut it. You must have the ability to read the market landscape, understand the DNA of your organization and identify the significant risks and opportunities. But being bold needs to be more than just hatching lofty ideasit needs to be strategically intelligent, holistic and creative. Attending our event will provide specifics on how to think big.

Big ideas without effective execution are worthless. The transition from strategy to execution is often the hardest part for many marketers. Getting the rubber on the road requires connecting very tangible actions with those big strategies. The agenda for our conference this year is packed with this kind of insight and information, structured around these tracks:

  • Connecting Vision Strategy and Execution
  • Beyond Knowing the Customer: Using Insight to Drive Engagement
  • Made to Measure: The Power of Metrics to Improve Marketing
  • Secrets of Marketing Mavericks and Masters
  • The CMO Experience

There is something for everyone, no matter what your organization may be grappling with; just a sampling includes topics like customer experience, data, measurement, innovation, organizational issues, agency strategies. Sessions will be actionable and exciting. (Our Gartner team may not be literal ninjas, but a few possess razor-sharp wit – See Marty Kihn)

If you distill the charter of every marketing leader to a single objective, it always comes down to growth; contributing in a meaningful way to growing your business. Connecting strategy to executionand execution to measurable growthis paramount. We’re focused on helping marketing leaders make those connections at this year’s conference.

Attending a quality marketing event can be incredibly energizing and clarifying. Being around other marketing leaders, exposure to thought-provoking ideas, proven best practices and the buzz of a vibrant event can have a very invigorating effect. We’ve spent the better part of a year planning the agenda, developing the content and designing a valuable experience for marketing leaders. I’m obviously a little biased, but it is going to be a fantastic event, and we would love for you to join us.

The conference agenda does not officially include any seaweed body wraps, cucumber masks, or water meditation but you do have a wonderful opportunity to spend some time in a place with positive marketing energy and like-minded marketing leaders in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.  Please join us. Namaste.
