When you join a team rotational program, you’ll work on high-impact, innovative projects that drive business impact, help clients address their biggest challenges and gain exposure to senior leadership — all with continuous coaching and feedback to ensure growth.
Recently, several associates completed our IT Rotational Program. For the past two years, the group rotated among four different areas of IT, gaining firsthand experience as to how our technology organization supports Gartner’s success. Working on different teams exposed them to different management styles and team structures, and gave them the opportunity to work with people from different backgrounds ranging from more tenured associates to people who had only recently joined Gartner and brought experiences from previous employers to the table.
In response to the global COVID-19 outbreak, the group found themselves working remotely for the final few months of their rotation. “On the IT team it’s not uncommon to work with team members in different regions from yours. In a single day, I would be connecting with other people in Stamford, Dallas, Chennai or Gurgaon – it wasn’t much different when we transitioned to remote work,” says Kevin Brown, Software Engineer.
Recently, the group commemorated their achievements with a virtual graduation ceremony, which included congratulatory messages from IT leaders and former rotational graduates.
“This program plays a critical role in finding and developing great associates and future leaders,” said Mike Diliberto, Gartner Chief Information Officer. “We’re working to expand our campus reach at schools with leading IT programs to attract a diverse student base.”
Join us in congratulating the graduates of the 2019 and 2020 IT Rotational Program.
