Recently, Gartner’s Digital Markets team partnered with WomenHack, an organization dedicated to empowering women to pursue careers in the technology industry, to participate in a recruitment event.
“Gartner’s partnership in our recent Barcelona event made it possible for us to help offer greater insight into the current hiring landscape to our attendees, and reach a broader, more diverse pool of candidates interested in new technology opportunities in the research and advisory space,” shared Fiona, Manager of Strategic Partnerships at WomenHack.
60+ attendees from across the Barcelona region attended the virtual session, which kicked-off with an introduction to the Digital Markets business and a discussion on the importance of diversity in the workplace from Gartner’s Thibaut de Lataillade, GVP of GetApp.
Top female engineers, designers and product managers had the chance to connect with the Gartner’s Digital Markets recruitment team during speed interview sessions. They learned about how Gartner Digital Markets focuses on helping small businesses make the right technology decisions for their organizations.
“Here at Gartner, we strive to bring together associates from a variety of backgrounds, experiences and skill sets because it makes us better as a team. Gartner Digital Markets team is committed to helping female talent advance their careers within the technology space. We’re thrilled to have been able to connect with so many great candidates in partnership with WomenHack!,” said Benjamin Osler, Lead Technical Recruiter
Attendees also had the chance to network with other members of the Gartner team, including Software Engineers and Product Managers, to learn about our commitment to further diversity, equity and inclusion at our virtual expo booth. “This event made my job search a little less overwhelming and showed me that the importance of diversity and inclusion is a reality at Gartner,” said one attendee.
