Gartner Connects with University Students & Graduates Virtually for Summer Webinar Series

June 22, 2020

At Gartner, we’re committed to developing the next generation of business leaders. How do we do this? By giving collegiate students and recent graduates the opportunity to connect with top industry talent as they share their real-world experience.

Throughout the 2019-2020 academic year, Gartner’s University Recruiting team attended over 1,250 events at 190 universities across Europe, India and the United States. During these on-site visits our team met with students and shared about our business, our people and our culture. As the effects of coronavirus continue to impact students and recent graduates across the globe, we’re providing collegiate talent with a virtual opportunity to learn more about our organization.

Starting in June, we’ll be hosting the Gartner Careers Summer Webinar Series – an online learning opportunity for collegiate talent. Throughout the summer, students will learn more about Gartner and develop their own professional skills by hearing directly from industry professionals.

Whether you’re looking to network with others, build your own professional brand or discover what it takes to be successful at Gartner, we’ve got a session for you. The series is broken out into 3 tracks, each containing multiple sessions:

Career Tracks: Get an inside look at the different teams that contribute to Gartner’s success. With sessions ranging on a variety of topics, you’ll hear directly from our associates about their work, teams and how they impact business. Learn more about our sales, finance, research, consulting, product and IT teams.

Upgrade Your Skills: Looking to improve your professional brand? We’re here to help. Our professional development series will give you the skills needed to stand out and succeed in the current job market. Our team will be sharing resume writing skills, interview tips and much more.

Executive Perspectives: Hear directly from Gartner’s leaders as they discuss their own career journeys, share about their teams and give advice to the next generation of professionals.

“The summer webinar series provides university students the opportunity to hear from Gartner leaders. By attending these sessions, students can walk away with a better understanding of what it is like to work at Gartner and learn some key skills to support their development,” says Kaley Hopkins Associate Director Recruiting.
