The Corporate Equality Index (CEI) is the nation’s premier benchmarking tool on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The 2020 CEI evaluates companies and top law firms on LGBTQ-related policies and practices, specifically focusing on the following criteria:
- Non-discrimination policies
- Employment benefits
- Demonstrated organizational competency and accountability around LGBTQ diversity and inclusion
- Public commitment to LGBTQ equality
- Responsible citizenship
