How Mosaic at Gartner Fosters a Culture of Inclusion

As the world’s leading research and advisory firm, we are proud to attribute our continuous success to the hard work and dedication of our 15,000+ associates from across the globe. As we continue grow, we understand the importance of fostering inclusive environments for each member of the Gartner team.

At Gartner, we believe that as individuals, as communities, and as an organization we are stronger and better by bringing diverse perspectives and experiences together. It is through the work of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that we strive to establish an inclusive and supportive environment. Our Mosaic at Gartner ERG is dedicated to recruiting and engaging associates from under-represented races, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds, helping to ensure each of our associates are engaged in our global community.

Mosaic at Gartner’s presence continues to grow across our organization, with over 600 members in our Arlington, Fort Myers, Chicago, San Francisco and Portland offices. Co-chairs Romona Brown and Carolina Valencia, help to facilitate the ERGs activities and initiatives, including networking events and teambuilding activities to further promote our diversity and inclusion efforts at Gartner.

Take a look below to learn more about a few of Mosaic at Gartner’s most recent milestones.

  • We launched our second largest Mosaic at Gartner group in our Fort Myers, Florida office.
  • Mosaic at Gartner partnered with the campus recruiting team to extend our presence in college and university campuses. This will ensure we continue to engage with and hire diverse associates.
  • Mosaic at Gartner hosted its annual ERG event in Arlington, VA which brings associates together to learn about the importance of “Global Heritage at Gartner.” Gartner associates were able to network over appetizers and drinks, while learning about each other’s cultural backgrounds.
  • Associates in our Chicago and Portland offices gathered locally and organized a potluck meal. Each associate was able to bring a personal heritage food item to share with the group – a great way to learn more about other culture.

This month, Mosaic at Gartner is observing Black History Month through a myriad of events. Through 2019, we will continue our efforts to grow our core mission including: employee engagement, expanding diversity recruiting efforts, and elevating the focus on career development for under-represented races and ethnicities. All Gartner associates are welcome and included.
