Describe your team in 25 words or less: I lead a team of talented and highly ambitious account executives who are responsible for the retention and growth of a client portfolio within the DACH territory by aligning Gartner capabilities to strategic and tactical business priorities.

Why did you choose Gartner? Before going through the recruitment process, I had never heard of Gartner. I was approached by a talent sourcer about a role within the business. From there, I got a good understanding of Gartner and what life is like within the business. I was really impressed by the coaching and development that is on offer here. Gartner really does invest in its people and their progression.

How long have you worked at Gartner? 4 years.

Describe yourself in 3 words Energetic, determined & optimistic. I’m a glass-half-full kind of person.

Describe your best employee. What unique qualities does he/she possess that makes them stand out? They definitely embrace a no-limits mindset. They always know that average isn’t good enough and they push themselves to be the best that they can be. They have a really good understanding of the business and can articulate this well to their peers and customers alike. They have a positive mental attitude and they always leverage people around them to provide feedback, enabling them to continuously improve.

Describe your management style: I’m all about my team. I am passionate about my team and I do everything I can to set them up for success. I encourage teamwork and I always do business with integrity and ensure my team does the same!

What advice do you have for members of your team, or someone considering joining your team? The biggest piece of advice I can give is to use the people around you to promote your success. Working collaboratively within Gartner is so important for your development and progression. Spend some time building relationships with key stakeholders in the business so that you can rely on them when you need it.
