Describe your team in 25 words or less: The ANZ Supply Chain team is an energetic and resourceful group of individuals, comprising three Account Executives in Sydney, Australia and one in Melbourne, Australia. What sets the team apart is their entrepreneurial approach to sales and their customer-centric perspective of delivering value.
Why did you choose Gartner? Prior to joining Gartner, I wrote down the characteristics I was seeking in my next role based on a long-term career vision. My description was so specific, I wondered if I was ever going to find what I was looking for. My goal was to find an organization that truly understood the intricacies of sales best practices, continuously innovated its products and services, while promoting a culture of professional development.
What was your first role at Gartner? I’ve had the privilege of working across both the IT End-User and Supply Chain organizations at Gartner. I started in Public Sector, Higher Education.

When interviewing a candidate, what are 3 things you look for? Their preparation, their ability to perform under pressure and how well they can link implications with outcomes.
Describe your management style: My aim is for every person in my team to be successful in the pursuit of their unique individual goals. I want them to look back on our time together as a meaningful moment in that journey.
What role does your team play in Gartner’s success? The ANZ & Singapore Supply Chain business plays a significant role in expanding our global presence. Asia is relatively uncharted waters for supply chain and our aim is to put flags in the ground — it’s a mission of conquest!
What advice do you have for members of your team, or someone considering joining your team? My advice is to take risks in the pursuit of your goals and trust that it is better to fall short of great attempts than to succeed by aiming low.
