Describe your job in 25 words or less: My role is to understand the client’s IT goals and needs so that I can help them reach those goals through the right event.
What originally attracted you to Gartner? I first heard of Gartner when I lived in Illinois from my sister, who works for a company that uses Gartner. The reputation, integrity and growth of the company makes me very proud to be a part of the Gartner family.
What is your favorite part about working for Gartner? There are many things I like about working for Gartner, but one of my favorite parts is the “sky is the limit” opportunities, such as the ability to make as much money as possible and grow as high as you want.
What has been your proudest moment at Gartner? My proudest moments so far have been hitting my first-quarter bonus in the month of February and first-half bonus in the first week of May — also Employee of the Month for February
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? I enjoy the relationship-building aspects the most — both with the clients and my internal partners, such as the account executives I work with.
What advice would you give to recent new hires? I would tell new hires to follow the process and put in the work and you will excel! It is that simple!
If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why? Joe Maddon — because he is the coolest manager in baseball! Not only does he promote camaraderie, fun and hard work among his young team, but he did what no other manager has been able to do in 108 years — helped the Cubs win the 2016 World Series!!
What are 3 words that best describe you? Driven, hardworking and committed.
What is one thing unique about you that people would be surprised if they knew? I love baseball and am a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan. I went to game 4 of the World Series.
