What is your favorite part about working for Gartner in Fort Myers, FL? Run, rest and recover. Fort Myers offers an exceptional work-life balance.

How has Gartner helped you in your career development? We grow because we have people counting on us. Whether that’s family, colleagues or the marketplace, there is someone who needs us to be strong. Gartner showed me how to balance the three.

Did you move to Fort Myers for this job? If yes, what was the hardest part and what was the easiest part? Yes. The hardest part is not knowing where everything is located. After a few weeks, that feeling quickly went away. The easiest part is learning about how great it feels to be supported by statistics from your trusted peers.

What advice do you have for prospective Gartner candidates? Welcome the new hire experience. It’s a learning process, and each day is a new opportunity.

What are 3 words that best describe Gartner? Learning, collaborating, winning.

What are 3 career lessons you’ve learned while at Gartner? Preparation is a must. Agility is a must. A good laugh is worth a thousand groans in any market.

What advice would you give to recent new hires for Sales at Gartner? Do you believe you can win? Show us. Winning happens when we have balance in our lives. Find the balance and your life will scale.

If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why? Gene Hall. Insights keep our lives moving in the right direction. Imagine being lost in the world and then talking to the person with the map. Now imagine over 15,000 people in a ballroom waiting to hear each question.

If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it? Life Support
