How long have you worked at Gartner? I have been with Gartner for 3 and a half years.

When interviewing a candidate, what are 3 things you look for? The things I look for when interviewing a candidate is their executive presence, will and passion to win, and their personal integrity. It is always important to make sure I hire people who will do the right thing by their team and their clients.
Share a success story about your team: Having a new team on-board with a combined average tenure of three and a half months, for the first time ever, we delivered two back-to-back successful events from the audience volume and revenue perspectives, in a region where historically we have struggled — Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit 2016, Dubai (100% to plan) & Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2017, Dubai (118% to plan). I believe we were to achieve this as a team, because of these three core underlying values:

What role does your team play in Gartner’s success? The Emerging Markets EAS team positively impacts not just the event business, but the overall Gartner organization. Our team’s ability to continuously drive a combination of prospect and client organizations to our summits and Symposium, allows our research partners to bring on new clients and support them in making the right decisions every day.
What are 3 of the most important responsibilities/tasks of your team?
- Driving the right people, in the right roles, to the right events
- Positively impacting Team NCVI by supporting our research sales business in driving growth across all sectors
- To be considered strategic business partners both internally and externally
