Describe your team in 25 words or less: My team does marketing to promote Gartner events to customers and Gartner associates.
Why did you choose Gartner? I was impressed that all of my interviewers from Gartner had clear visions to the future business. Before joining Gartner I was working as Brand Manager at a global IT company for marketing activities, including lead-generating events. Gartner called me in a timely manner when I was thinking of moving forward to focus my career more on events.
How long have you worked at Gartner? 13 months
What makes Gartner a great place to work? There are many reasons, but I’d say the biggest reasons are brand and business uniqueness. Gartner has Events, Research, Executive Programs and Consulting businesses. The four pillars greatly interact each other and you can enjoy the business collaboration.
Share a fun fact about yourself: Music is the most important factor in my life and I have enjoyed violin and a cappella. When I was five, I had an opportunity to play violin in front of the emperor of Japan. The experience was great.

What role does your team play in Gartner’s success? My team is responsible for promoting paid events in order to acquire event attendees. We focus on creating effective marketing communications and running smooth registration operations.

- Create online and printed marketing vehicles
- Register and manage attendees for all events
- Cultivate new customers
