Why did you choose Gartner? I experienced the great culture and learning opportunities when I did my Gartner internship in 2007 and wanted to be a part of that.

Share a fun fact about yourself: I don’t know my exact place of birth as I was born on the highway on route to the hospital in London!
OR…I got into boxing at the age of 15 but stopped for several years, focusing my efforts on playing football. I then got back into boxing after I sold Gartner to a new client and we started training together at a boxing club in London!
Describe your best employee. What unique qualities does he/she possess that makes them stand out? They have passion, a no-limits mindset that anything is possible, are naturally curious and have meaningful personal and professional goals. When you combine these traits with an unwavering sense of confidence and conviction in Gartner, then great things really happen!
When interviewing a candidate, what are 3 things you look for? Purposeful goals, executive presence and passion.
What role does your team play in Gartner’s success? Our business development team, ‘The Elite Team,’ is a critical growth engine for the emerging markets. As a business unit, our team will continue to contribute over 30% of growth toward the Gulf region’s success.
What are 3 of the most important responsibilities/tasks of your team? Drive consistent high activity by arranging new meetings with CxOs. Understand prospective clients’ mission-critical priorities & demonstrate how Gartner can help them become successful. Deliver results by closing net new business!
What advice do you have for members of your team, or someone considering joining your team? Our team members are all very passionate, extremely driven and want to be part of a high-performing team. You will see that there is a common thread of winning attitude, strong mindset and collaboration running through every individual making up our team. When I’m considering people to hire to join our team, I think about how this person will upgrade our already existing great talent and break new records.
When representing Gartner in the field, you will be dealing directly with C-level executives, gaining a deep understanding of their objectives and challenges. You will need to take full accountability for understanding their business better than anyone else and act as the orchestrator by leveraging the right internal resources to support your client to become successful. You will need to have full belief in the Gartner value proposition and be able to articulate this conviction all day, every day!
