What originally attracted you to Gartner? Constant learning environment, collaborative culture, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
What is your favorite part about working for Gartner? I love the constant collaboration among all teams — Sourcers, Recruiters, People Analytics, Recruiting Coordinators and the SMB team — to deliver on our goals!
How has Gartner helped you in your career development? Gartner has helped focus my efforts and previous recruiting experience in a much more organized, strategic and effective way.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? I really enjoy the hunting aspect of my role, engaging with passive candidates who would have never looked at Gartner and seeing them realize the positive impact our roles can have for their careers.
What advice would you give to recent new hires? Don’t be afraid to fail fast. Partner closely with your business partners to get up to speed and deliver top-quality talent quickly and effectively.
If you could interview one person (dead or alive) who would it be and why? Martin Luther King, Jr., as I’d love to gain further insight into his mindset and experiences that led him to be the man we know of today.
If you were to write a book about yourself, what would you name it? An Acadian Tale: One man’s journey from small-town status to global recognition!
What are 3 words that best describe you? Collaborative, energetic and optimistic
What is one thing unique about you that people would be surprised if they knew? My biggest passion is singing, and I recently had the honor this year to sing at an Open Mic Night at the Sugar Bar NYC with Valerie Simpson holding down the background vocals.
Favorite Quote or Personal Mantra: Never pity yourself and always be thankful for what you have as there’s always someone out there with less than you.
