Stamford team provides “candy grams” to area shelter
The Custom Newsletters and Reprints (CNR) team in Stamford got together to share some love with those in need. The group of eight assembled 40 “candy grams” with Valentine’s Day wishes, and delivered them to a local homeless shelter, Pacific House.
Greg Ricciardi. Program Manager with CNR, said the initiative was a team effort that reinforced Gartner’s Team Sport ethic while making a positive impact in the local community. “We wrote personalized notes and decorated them with stickers to include in the bags. Then, another team wrapped up the candy and tied them together with beautiful ribbons,” he said. “All in all, we made about 40 candy grams, just during our lunch hour!”
Gartner associates who participated with Greg were Amy Lopes, Samna Rani, Kathleen Perez, Jessica Young, Rose Coppola, Casey Hoffman, Erica Andreana and Chris Moore.
Pacific House provides emergency food and shelter for homeless men in lower Fairfield County and helps them live more fulfilling lives through support services designed to help them find employment and stable long-term housing.
