Describe your team in 25 words or less: Program Managers are tenacious. They don’t live with the status quo and are always looking for ways to improve the client experience through innovative problem solving.
Why did you choose Gartner? I chose Gartner because of the excellent brand recognition in the technology research field as well as feedback from current employees at the time that associate development was a high priority for leadership.

What makes Gartner a great place to work? The challenge of coming to work each day and needing to be at your best because today will be different than the problem solving you committed to yesterday and the day before that.
Share a fun fact about yourself: I love to snowboard during the winter and it was one of my favorite weekend activities when I lived in Connecticut. Now that I’ve relocated to Fort Myers I will need to come up with a more geographically appropriate sport while still sneaking in the occasional winter trip to snowboard.
When interviewing a candidate, what are 3 things you look for? Personal and professional drive, excellence in a candidate’s communication skill set, and the ability to problem solve successfully, as well as be solution-oriented during the most difficult of circumstances.
Describe your management style: In leadership I’ve often found it is important to manage to consistency. Our associates are constantly dealing with the ever changing needs of their clients where we have to go above and beyond to drive value. They have to be able to rely on their manager for support, to feel confident they can reach out for help at any time and that the feedback I share is actionable as well as relevant to the task at hand.
What role does your team play in Gartner’s success? My team plays a very important part in the client service delivery process. We focus on marketing, specifically by helping to align Gartner’s industry-leading research with the marketing priorities of our clients. Unlike an individual seat-based model, our product focuses on supporting entire departments. CNR Program Managers must balance a consistent flow of information and build relationships with contacts in Analyst Relations, Marketing, Production Design and Executive Leadership to deliver a successful reprint or newsletter.
What advice do you have for members of your team, or someone considering joining your team? Successful Program Managers are driven by the achievements of their clients. They can understand the marketing mission-critical priorities behind each account’s program and use the champion mindset to go the extra mile to deliver the appropriate Gartner resources that match those MCPs. Program Managers are versatile and able to adapt to the changing needs of our clients. They are also forward-thinking in internal partnerships with our Sales colleagues to ensure we drive the highest possible retention.
