My Coverage Areas Reminder

As a reminder to Gartner for Technical Professionals clients who read this blog, here is a list of my current coverage areas:

  • SIEM / log management tools and practices (it sort of includes other types of security analytics as well)
  • Vulnerability assessment tools and vulnerability management practices (but not DAST / SAST scanning)
  • DLP tools and practices (but not data security in general)
  • Denial of Service defense
  • PCI DSS compliance
  • Network forensics

These are the areas I am writing about and take client calls on. Also, I get an occasional call on incident response and SOC operations and may write about them in the future.
