OK, OK, I Hear Ya, I’m Tweeting Again

by Anthony J. Bradley  |  June 8, 2009  |  3 Comments

I used Twitter ages ago and never really got into it (didn’t see the value). But now that Twitter has gained more participants and I’m being asked more and more for my Twitter name, I’m going to give it another shot.

I’ll try to tweet useful insights as I get them (obviously in sound bite form) and keep people abreast of what I’m working on.

My Twitter name is BradleyAnthonyJ.

Welcome to the already popular ” I didn’t understand it at first club”.. There’s lots of us here who know exactly how hard staying away from Twitter is becoming.

For us meeting people on Twitter is the single most productive source of registrations for our service.

But also it’s a fantastic Customer Service resource.

Three times recently I’ve had occasion to complain about some of the web based services we us. Posting a note on Twitter gets their attention in a hurry. In all three cases I’ve received contact from the service provider within an hour of stating my displeasure, and I never had to chase anybody, They came straight to me.

I’ll pick up your stream now. If you’re interested you can follow me @frontofficebox

In response to both comments above; 1. I always understood Twitter but, for me, the value of microblogging is still uncertain. Some analysts feel it is a good research tool but I have not found it to be so. I have blogged previously that the value prop for microblogging is around mass awareness and mass coordination. The mass awareness may hold some value for me so I’ll look to reengage and see what value I can find. 2. I have not had the “ah ha! this is greatly valuable” moment yet. I may but have not yet.
