My colleague Svetlana Sicular just published Harness Streaming Data for Real-Time Analytics.

Two architectural approaches — called Lambda and Kappa — are blueprints for achieving fast access to fresh, streaming data. Data and analytics leaders can reduce cost and accelerate implementation of real-time analytics and IoT systems by adopting these approaches.

Streaming data represents a new source of value and complexity, and it is a form of data that we cannot ignore.  Indeed, some might say its central to how digital business will evolve.

While you can “rate” this note online, please do send specific feedback to the author as well.  We crave direct feedback on how to improve our work. Thanks.
