After paying my household insurance for 10 years (with American Home Shield), I get to find out today that the contract does NOT cover the spring of my garage door. It just so happens that spring is one of the major parts of the door. Apart from the motor and the rail assembly, that is about it. If I had known the spring wasn’t part of the deal, I probably would not have used AHS. Consumers get caught all the time with this stuff. Great. Another expensive repair. Thanks, but no thanks, AHS. Why do I get the feeling I need to bore myself with reading a document most firms don’t even send to you now, unless you specifically ask for a copy.
