We are aiming to publish research identifying several successful real-world SDN implementations. Thus, if you know of any mainstream enterprise customers running SDN in production that are willing to speak with Gartner (named or un-named), please let me know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The goal of this research is to identify tangible real-world benefits that have been realized from SDN implementations, and we’re aiming for 4-6 case-studies in which a mainstream organization has implemented SDN in production to solve a functional, financial or operational challenge. In the research, we will identify what the challenge was, how SDN solved it, the cost associated, and what alternatives were considered. Here’s an example of the type of research we are aiming to publish (based on the topic of NoSQL).
A Tour of NoSQL in Eight Use Cases
Thanks In Advance,
