From Peter Redshaw> Within the Banking and Investment Services team, we continue to receive a wide range of enquiries from our financial services clients. What is clear from these ongoing interactions with clients is that time is of the essence – time to plan and form strategies is in short supply, and clients are increasingly looking to Gartner for help with this process. For those clients able to make it to our Gartner Symposium in Cannes, France, which kicks off in just over two weeks time, we hope to provide exactly this type of assistance, centered on the dedicated sessions during the special “Industries Morning” on Monday 3rd November plus other events throughout the week. Some of these are “by registration only” sessions, so it is worth having a look at the event website and using the Agenda Builder - http://agendabuilder.gartner.com/esc21/webpages/Home.aspx – to add these sessions to your calendar, and where necessary register your attendance.
In further posts I’ll be able to include links to both a podcast and a video that give more of the flavour for our keynote FS presentation and the workshops we’ll be running. In the meantime, here is a quick summary for eleven of the presentations, workshops, roundtables and networking events that will be delivered by the Banking and Investments Services analysts, dedicated to Financial Services professionals. Note that many of these are designed for end-users financial services companies only so that they can exchange views freely – I’m afraid that vendors might cramp their style!
