Stessa Cohen here. The Phillies won the World Series of Baseball (yes, with only US teams) last night and since I live in Philadelphia, I am pretty darn excited. It’s the first time the city has won a championship in 25 years. One sportswriter points out that the championship came after 10,000 losses.
Does this post have a bank connection? Just barely. According to the Philadelphia Daily News,
“…one fan may have taken his devotion a bit too far when police say he robbed a bank and later allegedly funded a shopping spree for Phillies gear with the stolen cash.”
I won’t be at the parade. I’ll be here, listening and providing analysis to our clients, writing, and beaming — proud of my team.
