    Cloud computing is nothing more that a renaming of “Centralized Computer Services” aka “Computing as a Service”

    I have to agree more with jesse – cloud computing is certainly real, but waaaay over-hyped. 99% of the time when people are talking about “cloud” they are just talking about Software as a Service. Which before that was called Application Service Providers.

    We even have people calling mainframe-based credit card processing services “cloud” because they have an HTTP interface.
