2009 A Year in Review for Me

by Jim Sinur  |  December 22, 2009  |  5 Comments

I am just glad 2009 is over in the sense that I survived and managed to keep gainfully employed in the hot BPM sector. In addition business rules, decision/process optimization and patterned based strategies are emerging as important topics. It looks like there is plenty to research in 2010 and beyond. Looking at 2009 for me was one of growth.

1 Sherry and I are now at the 11 year mark of our marriage

2 We added three new grandchildren to our base of five. Welcome to Kale, Gabriella and Amanda :)

3. David, my middle son, married the love of his life Meghan  :)

4 My blog audience is growing and people are commenting nicely.

5 I now have a new twitter audience as well

6 I completed 7 new paintings in my first year as a painter and like the progress. See my latest below.

7 David and I collaborated on creating some cool fractal art we burn into aluminum. Pretty neat look. See below:

It’s been a good year and I wanted to thank you for your readership. I hope I have pleased you in my blog offerings and hope to serve you better in 2010. Let’s keep the dialog going. I am looking for an exciting 2010. .

I love the fractal pics, especially the top two. I don’t suppose you are sharing them in desktop wallpaper sizes? Those are the kind of images I love to have on my 1920×1200 24″ display (alternating with pics of the family, of course!).

If I thought people would buy them, sure :)

The fractal art is looking great Jim; for me, the last image in your post is particularly incredible. Here’s to your continued success in 2010.
