I thought that title might catch some attention. You know when you a have good hunting dog when it finds game you don’t expect. Some of the BPM Award submissions did the same for us. We found one situation where the benefits gleaned by an organization were used to help those that were less fortunate. What an idea! result! Can you imagine BPM working in a trickle down fashion to help those who really need it while enhancing the reputation of an organization? We also found the creative use of unstructured processes to leverage knowledge workers in the best possible way to protect the safety of many and saving money. While savings are the game we anticipated BPM to sniff out, we found some “out of the box” thinking going on out there. We expect more unexpected and creative results as BPM flourishes.
By the way I’ve included a “in progress” portrait on my dog, Maggie Mae. As you can see she is Sherry’s purse dog; not a hunter. She is cute as a devil and with a great personality to boot. What you see here is an under painting (about 14 coats and three months of elapsed time). I’m just starting to add color which will take another month. Good hunting to all
