Last summer, Gartner did a survey of the top benefits before we hit the difficult economic conditions facing us today. The results of that survey said that BPM:
•Improves process quality
•Improves Customer Satisfaction
•Engenders Continuous Process Improvement
•Reduces Costs
•Improves the Customer Experience
•Improves Business agility
•….
•#11 – Supports Moving to SOA
The top targeted benefits have shifted to be focused on savings. This is not a big surprise, but it does not take long to get a shift in desire and behavior these days. The results of an informal survey today of a group online today who wanted to hear about justifying BPM today said that BPM:
•Reduces Costs
•Reduces Time
•Improves process quality
•Improves Customer Satisfaction
•Engenders Continuous Process Improvement
