Well, it was a busy week at Oracle World in San Francisco. A massive event that was well run. It was so big it felt like the days of Comdex in Las Vegas, before Vegas was a big convention city. The only thing missing was the Chili cook-off. Other big providers should take note of the size and scope of the event.
The Keynote was interesting and I liked the Blogging tables that were provided. I spent a lot of time at the Beehive demo grounds and watched the reactions of some CIOs to some of the feature sets being shown.
Beehive was launched earlier in the year and Jeff Mann and Matt Cain wrote a First Take about it then. We will have more on this new product in upcoming research….
