  • This is a great reference for high-level functionality in workforce planning solution. I would add sourcing strategy to fill gaps. Talent management is discussed, but determining if if the right source is internal, new full time hire, part time hire, contingent worker, etc, is also important.

Hi, these are great point you bring up. The outline is not meant to be exhaustive – very broad, high level.

Sourcing is a good term to add – I would plug sourcing into a subset of the global recruitment strategy.

When you analyze your workforce, you can then better determine where the source of the next hire might come from. Plus, the WF plan process entails data gathering from constituents relative to succession planning, future hiring needs, and making determinations as to were the talent will come from.

    Great points!

    Thanks for commenting. Sincerely,
