Offline support for SaaS applications has certainly been a criticism. This announcement by Google will increase attention on supporting this feature.

I had previously posted a link to a couple of Workday YouTube videos. The folks at Vurv pointed out to me that they have been posting videos too. The "Love Letters" and "Upgrades" videos are both pretty amusing.
