Thoughts after two conferences

As stay up late catching up on things, I can’t help but think of the many discussions I had with attendees of the Customer Relationship Management and our Web Innovations Summits. The one thing in common between the user attendees and the developer attendees was a concern that they are not delivering an engaging customer experience and that they are falling further behind with Web 2.0 and other aspects of the customer experience. After just using a few sites this evening to tidy up things before hitting the road again, I can’t agree more that many of the sites out there are so Web 1.0 or less inĀ their customer experience. Does your site have a green screen applicationĀ hiding behind its web pages? Because from what have seen today. There are still some out there. What do you think?
