I spent the day at our Web Innovation Summit speaking with attendees and presenting on how communities can and are changing the way we sell. There were some very interesting questions such as does communities work for all industries and business models? Can communities work for products that are not traditional retailer merchandise? What about regulated industries?
Although all the answers to these questions may not be clear, we are certainly seeing the beginning of wide spread adoption of the social aspects of web 2.0 for sales.
