The BPM Summit was held March 7 and 8 in London. The 275 attendees made the most of the two packed days – attending sessions, visiting the vendor show floor, chatting with the Gartner analysts and making connections with other attendees. I had a wonderful time and did get out for some great Indian food. [...]

Rick Rummler and Alan Ramius framed some of the BPM challenges in their keynote session “Repositioning BPM for Sustainable Success.” Lots of great attendee interactions on the vendor showcase floor. Before any rumors start, there were not 30,000 tweets! There have been a respectable number and a lot of really great content. It’s fascinating to sit here all day and get the pulse of Gartner Symposium just from Twitter. When attending as an analyst, the day is packed with meetings, presentations and more meetings and [...]

Today I am back again tracking the tweets from Gartner Symposium on a spectacular autumn day in Oakland, CA. The views expressed here are my own and solely mined from monitoring the #gartnersym tweet stream. I’ve selected some that I believe tell an interesting story. Summary from Monday: “Yesterday’s theme was about a new job [...]
