Hi Sandy

Gartner still issues press credentials to bloggers, but they have to be "full-time bloggers" not consultants with blogs, etc.

From my PR guys about this topic:

Every year, as a normal course of business planning, we conduct a thorough review of our press registration process. In regard to bloggers, we still allow some bloggers to attend, but we review blogger’s requests for media passes on a case by case basis. In general, we do grant media passes to full-time reporters and bloggers.

As I mentioned on Jim Sinur's post about this, it’s a shame that Gartner has stopped issuing press credentials to bloggers (such as myself) so that we could attend the BPM summit where these awards will be given, and report on them.
