Describe your job in 25 words or less: My role has two areas of focus — to grow and manage the HTTP territory and to coach great talent to help grow this territory together.

What originally attracted you to Gartner? Gartner is such a unique organization, where CIOs seek advisory and validation on their IT strategies and decision-making. Gartner is the “Intelligent” company that advises some of the smartest minds in the world. How cool is that!

What is your favorite part about working for Gartner? Having the opportunity to engage with the C-level executives of many large global technology companies and being able to provide them with differentiated insights that can help them to achieve their mission-critical priorities and elevate their business to new heights.

How has Gartner helped you in your career development? Gartner gave me the exposure to engage very senior management within the client organization. This is the type of networking opportunities that not many peers within the industries get to have.

What has been your proudest moment at Gartner? Built a strong and trusted relationship with some of my C-level clients who are known to be challenging.

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most? There are two aspects I absolutely enjoy at Gartner: The first is when my clients are happy with the value they obtained from Gartner and renew year after year. Secondly is when I consistently overachieve sales targetsPhoto 1 year after year. Gartner rewards winners!

What advice would you give to recent new hires? Join Gartner with an open mind. Step out of your comfort zone, take on the challenger spirit and embrace the fresh new learnings from Gartner. Most importantly, always ask and clarify when in doubt.

If you could interview one person (dead or alive), who would it be and why? It would be Steve Jobs. I admire his drive and determination to achieve his Apple dream, so much so that he sacrificed some of the other important things in his life.

What are 3 words that best describe you? Resourceful, driven and compassionate.

What is one thing unique about you that people would be surprised if they knew? I really enjoy cooking meals for my family and friends, even if it means waking up really early to go marketing on a weekend and sweating out in the kitchen for more than 6 hours just to dish out the perfect meal. The joy and satisfaction from them makes it all worthwhile.
