Good point, Bart. We must consider ALL communications channels, both internal and external. We must ask ourselves "Is your enterprise's continuity plan up to the potential challenge?"

I've been in touch with major technology providers, both print and mail inserting manufacturers. They are prepared to support major print/mail producers should the pandemic mean operators and technicians are unable to report to work or do so in reduced numbers.

Nevertheless, every enterprise must perform its own due diligence now, before labor-intensive operations such as these are impacted.

Great advice! 'Swine Flu' should also include testing other transactional document delivery channels including email, fax and text messaging.
