    How about more research into the human factor in information security? For example:
    1. Impact of the global recession as it relates to increased fraud.
    2. Impact of cultural differences on the security of outsourced IT (e.g. different cultures have different levels of resistance to bribery) and models for companies to take such difference into account when choosing to outsource.
