		<description>I agree there are too many boxes, and it&#039;s only a matter of time because digital IP is the next format (sorry blu-ray).

I&#039;d say that TIVO and xbox have an interesting play, given their partnership with Netflix. Until Apple comes out with a subscription-based service, I&#039;d place them in the me-too pile of players for now.

IMO, whoever can stream professional content from existing services like Southpark Studios or Hulu will have a great headstart. It probably means entering some partnership with the cable co&#039;s, but (to Apple&#039;s credit) we&#039;ve seen consumer products bring service providers to their knees before.
