So, it appears blogging fever has hit Gartner. I am excited that my colleagues and I get the opportunity to showcase our insight into all things IT (and some not IT related) on a more ongoing basis.
I have been blogging for about six years, and the fruits of my labor can be found at What’s On Tonight which contains videos on such diverse topics as baseball (actually, most of the videos are about baseball), music, travel and any sort of oddity that crosses my path.
In addition, I will be launched a new, personal blog on things related to the intersection of media and technology. Stay tuned for that.
Personally, I will be one that tests the limits of this exercise, not only in my choice of topics, but in my use of such media as Twitter, Seesmic, video, podcasts, etc… I will get started on that straight away.
My hope if to make this entertaining as well as informative. I hope to draw comments as well as debate from my posts. Heck, one video I shot called “Why I Hate L.A.” has received more than 500 comments on YouTube as well as my personal blog. Let’s see if I can top that.
